What happens when Partners for the Arts, a green screen, and Mardi Gras collide?

Attend a virtual performance and see the result! This year’s Revelry Artful Evening will feature some familiar Partner faces in a virtual Mardi-Gras themed world. This collaboration between theatre faculty member Jay Morris and dance faculty members Stacy Reischman Fletcher and Candice Salyers starts with a green screen and ends with a filmed live performance. Theatre, dance, partners, and technology combine for an original and celebratory evening.

PART 1: GREEN SCREEN POP-UP VIDEO EXPERIENCE //

Come be filmed walking Mardi Gras-style in front of a green screen! Parade, anyone? Dance faculty member, Candice Salyers, will be on hand to set the stage. Theatre faculty member, Jay Morris, will be running the green screen and sharing his technological wizardry. All footage will be used to create a virtual Mardi Gras parade, to be premiered on February 23. Mardi Gras attire encouraged!

You can come alone or in up to groups of three! No experience required, just enthusiasm for participating in the making of a theatrical event, as we bring the Mardi Gras spirit to you! Limited time slots available, reserve your spot today!
