Wideman Davis Dance Interdisciplinary Arts Panel Discussion

The Borderline Arts Ensemble is a dance theatre company based in Wellington,

Through their research and artistic work, the renowned Wideman-Davis Dance Company

offers communities and audiences the opportunity to explore connections between historical events and life today, as interpreted through an African-American lens. Their latest project, Migratuse Ataraxia, explores “creative humanity” through a multimedia dance performance that re-imagines the lives of enslaved individuals through movement, technology, and visual installations. During this interdisciplinary panel discussion, Artistic Directors Tanya Wideman-Davis and Thaddeus Davis will be in conversation with three of their collaborators from this project and will also take questions from the audience.

*Zoom pre-registration required
